Tour itinerary

**Departure at 8:00 AM** from your accommodation or the main square of Marrakech for a **2-day / 1-night excursion to the Zagora Desert**. Travel south through the spectacular **High Atlas Mountains**, crossing the famous **Tizi n'Tichka Pass** at an altitude of **2,260 meters**. Several stops will be made along the way to admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Continue to **Ouarzazate**, known as the **Gateway to the Desert**, where numerous international films such as *Asterix & Obelix*, *Lawrence of Arabia*, and *Gladiator* were filmed. Lunch will be served at a restaurant overlooking the **Taourirt Kasbah** (the old town of Ouarzazate) or in the city center. The journey then continues through the **Anti-Atlas Mountains** and the magnificent **Draa Valley**, Morocco's largest valley, famous for its endless palm groves and traditional kasbahs. In the afternoon, arrive in **Zagora**, where you will leave your 4x4 behind and embark on a scenic **camel trek** to your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and spend the night in authentic **nomadic desert tents**. Experience an unforgettable evening beneath the star-filled Sahara sky, accompanied by a live **Berber drum performance** after dinner.

Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora

We wake up early to admire the sunrise from the nearest dune to the camp. Enjoy free time to take exceptional photos and experience the peaceful silence of the Zagora Desert. After a delicious breakfast at the camp restaurant, you can choose to return by camel or by 4x4 to the paved road, where our vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech. We continue our journey to the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, an 11th-century fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tinifift Pass. Around midday, we arrive at the famous village of Aït Ben Haddou, where you will have free time to explore the kasbah and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we continue our return journey to Marrakech. Crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, we arrive back in Marrakech, the "Red City of Morocco." You will then be transferred to the nearest accessible drop-off point, marking the end of your 2-day / 1-night excursion from Marrakech to the Zagora Desert.
